Previously, Orsini has worked for Sorenson Medical (West Jordan, UT) and Becton Dickinson and Company (Franklin Lakes, NJ). Maloy previously worked for Owens & Minor (Mechanicsville, VA), Johnson & Johnson Medical (New Brunswick, NJ) and McKesson Medical-Surgical, a subsidiary of McKesson Corp (San Francisco, CA). AVID Medical awarded Amerinet contract AVID Medical Inc (Toano, VA) was awarded a three-year national agreement that will commence November 1, 2006 to provide custom procedure trays to members of Amerinet Inc (St. Louis, MO). Medi-Flex Inc changes name to Enturia Inc Medi-Flex Inc (Leawood, KS) recently announced it is changing its company name to Enturia Inc to help facilitate its expansion into international markets and its strategic plans to extend and develop its product line. The company will begin operating under the new name in January 2007. In conjunction with the re-naming, the company announced the establishment of Enturia Ltd (UK) and the beginning of operations in the European Union. Medi-Flex also is expanding its activities in Canada and plans to launch ChloraPrep in Latin America in the near future. Precision Dynamics Corp to acquire product lines from Hollister Inc Precision Dynamics Corp (PDC) (San Fernando, CA) and Hollister Inc (Libertyville, IL) announced that they have signed a definitive agreement for PDC to purchase Hollister’s Ident-A-Band® and WrisTicket® identification product lines. NCI announces winners of its Premier Healthcare innovators contest NCI (Tampa, FL) announced the winners of the inaugural NCI Healthcare Innovators contest. In rank order, the winners of the inaugural NCI Healthcare Innovators Contest are Mike Sweeney, general manager of Esurg Corp (Seattle, WA), Frank Fernandez, AVP and corporate director of materials management for Baptist Health of South Florida (Miami, FL) and Patrick Trim, director of capital equipment services at Aurora Health Care (Milwaukee, WI). Winners were selected by NCI's Board of Advisors from among 10 finalists. House approves VA hospital for Orlando The U.S. House of Representatives authorized spending $377.77 million for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Washington, DC) to build a hospital on Lake Nona Road in Orlando, Florida.
